Breaking down the Indiana Pacers schedule: October/November

To start the season off, the Indiana Pacers will begin on the road against the Hornets and the Wizards. While both teams banner new additions, the Blue and Gold at full strength should be able to piece two straight wins as they head into the season opener.

Foremost home games against the Heat and the Bucks, and an early meeting with the Nets will all be difficult tests for the Pacers in October.

Meanwhile, prior to another matchup with last season’s East and West number one seeds Philadelphia and Utah , Indiana will face playoff contenders in New York, Denver and Portland. Possible trap games against the Toronto and San Antonio should also be noted.

To send off November, the Pacers will have another meeting with the defending champs after intriguing bouts with the Pelicans and Bulls and a difficult game at home against the new-look Lakers.

These early challenges will be great for Indy as the squad can measure where they stand as a team early on. Their record may be far from the league’s best to begin the season, but they will have a lot of chances to gain ground in the following months.
