Former Indiana Pacers center Roy Hibbert could crush the interior

With the BIG3 focusing solely on the halfcourt, Roy Hibbert would be a great option for a team looking to add an interior force to do work in the paint. Removed from his NBA career by three seasons now, he may have lost a step, but certainly still has the frame to muscle in the paint.

Hibbert, who currently is on staff with the Philadelphia 76ers in a player development role, averaged 11.1 points and 6.8 rebounds throughout his time as a Pacers player.

Having taken just 24 3-pointers throughout his career, he’s not going to light up the four-point zone either, but he can absolutely dominate the paint on offense and defense.

Given that Hibbert has playing experience and associate coaching/development experience, both at the professional level, he would be a great addition to the BIG3 on many different levels.

Hibbert can bring force and culture to whatever team he is a part of. Chemistry is important when it’s just you and two teammates on the floor, and Hibbert would raise the bar in so many ways.

The footwork and post moves Hibbert could utilize in the paint would be absolutely detrimental to his opponents, and he can hang with the best of the big men his team would be looking to defend.
