What’s Next? Round 4 with the King, matchups with three underachieving teams at home

If I would’ve told you before the start of the season that on January 26th the Pacers would have the potential to sweep the season series against LeBron James and the Cavaliers, would you have believed me? Probably not, instead you would’ve asked if you could get a hit of whatever I was smoking.

It’s true. Tonight the Indiana Pacers have the chance to move to 4-0 against the Cavaliers this season, which should speak of the development and surge of guys like Victor Oladipo and Domantas Sabonis.

This season has had plenty of ups and downs, but this is one of those things you can look back on after the regular-season and use it asconfidence to make a playoff run. While Cleveland has gone 3-7 through the month of January, this is still a team capable of winning a championship this season, which means that a win for Indiana is a very big deal.

After the Cavaliers, the Pacers will have a stretch of four games against teams with sub .500 records, including three in the next. If Indiana is able to finish the week at 4-0, it will be something to celebrate. However, anything less than 3-1 should be considered a failure.
