The 2017 NBA Draft will be held on June 22 at 7 pm eastern time. The Indiana Pacers hold the 18th pick in the first round and the 47th pick in the second round.

The 2017 NBA draft will be one of the most exciting nights of the NBA calendar. We’ll all gather around to talk about a lottery guy’s star potential, dream about the upside of that second rounder, and have the broadcast on low volume while we wait for Woj to tell us who’s getting picked five minutes before it’s announced.

More from Pacers Draft

This year, draft night will fall on June 22, with the broadcast set to begin at 7 pm eastern. As always, the draft will be in NYC at the Barclays Center and will be broadcast on ESPN. The Pacers have the 18th overall pick and the 47th overall pick as of this post’s publishing, but that could potentially change all the way up to draft night.

Pacers Possibilities

At the 18th pick, the Pacers have been linked to a few different guys. Draft Express has them taking UCLA freshman Ike Anigbogu, while Bleacher Report has them taking Anigbogu’s teammate  T.J. Leaf. Other outlets have tossed out names like Jarrett Allen, Luke Kennard, Terrance Ferguson, Justin Patton and Harry Giles.

The second round is significantly more difficult to predict, especially all the way out to pick No. 47. Prospects around that number include players like Nigel Williams-Goss, Wesley Iwundu, Monte Morris, Jonah Bolden and Cameron Oliver.

Something that could alter the Pacers’ draft strategy significantly is a potential Paul George trade, specifically if it included a top pick in the 2017 draft. We might have to wait all the way until draft night to really know if that’s happening.
