With the NBA Draft Lottery finally here, let’s look one more time at some of the many crazy outcomes that could become reality by night’s end.

We’ve been talking about this night for what feels like forever, and at long last, it has arrived. Tonight, NBA Commissioner Adam Silver will reveal the results of the NBA Draft Lottery. We will finally know if the Celtics were wise to hold on to Brooklyn’s pick, if the Lakers will keep theirs or toil further in rebuilding hell, and if the Kings will #KANGZ up the place.

This is inarguably one of the most important lotteries in years. Possibilities upon possibilities abound, especially regarding a potential Paul George trade. Just like the announcement of All-NBA teams on Thursday, Kevin Pritchard’s job with regards to George will either be simplified by tonight’s results or made much, much more complicated.

All the different directions the lottery could go can be overwhelming, especially when all the pick protection minutiae is involved. It’s similarly tough to know what to root for as a Pacers fan. To make it a little easier (but not much), we’ve drawn out five potential scenarios and how they would potentially influence the Pacers’ direction going forward.
