1. Do you have any hope that the Indiana Pacers will get a top-three pick?
Jon Washburn: No. Not unless Dan Gilbert lends us his kid, who seems to be some sort of a lucky rabbit’s foot. He’s unavailable, right?
Ben Gibson: Have you not seen my previous roundtable answers? I am stupidly optimistic. I’m a walking version of the “So you’re saying there is a chance?” meme. Despite the statistic odds being between “Not Gonna Happen” and “No Chance in Hell,” I’ll be sad when Indiana’s name is called out for the 11th pick.
Jalen Bishop: Nope. But who has best luck on the roster? Fly him to New York.
Justin Ochoa: I don’t think the Pacers will get a top-three pick and, honestly, I’m glad they won’t. The pressure that comes with choosing a player in the top three is crucial and seems like it would be such a burden. Even when I get an early pick in my fantasy drafts, I have a slight freak out. I don’t want to Pacers, post-PG-injury, to get themselves into a Darko Milicic situation. Not after last season. I can’t handle that, as a fan.
Whitney Medworth: They say that hope breeds eternal misery, so no, I have no hope the Pacers will get a top-three pick. Though if anyone else wants to do some wishing on stars or whatever you do, I will not stop you.
