Throwback Thursday: Jermaine O'Neal Scores 55 Points vs. Bucks

For the rest of the summer on every Thursday, a notable Pacer game or performance will be posted. Whether it’s Reggie Miller giving Spike Lee a choke sign or a random Pacer game in the past, each video will bring nostalgia.

On January 4, 2005, the Indiana Pacers(16-13) defeated the Milwaukee Bucks(9-19) 116-99. This was right after O’Neal’s appeal in court. He went on dominate Zaza Pachulia, Joe Smith and Marcus Fizer all game — scoring 55 points and grabbing 11 rebounds. He shot 18-of-28 from the field and made 19 free throws.

O’Neal began the game with 19 points in the first ten minutes while the rest of the team only scored one bucket. He was unstoppable all night in pick-and-rolls, mid-range and in the post.
