Roy Hibbert Stops By Twitter Headquarters

I would consider Roy Hibbert social media savvy. He knows when to maximize an opportunity on Twitter. When the Pacers owned the beginning of last season, he tweeted out that he’s the Defensive Player of the Year and Paul George is winning Most Valuable Player. Those tweets buzzed on blogs.

When the Blazers beat the Pacers in early December, after the game Hibbert tweeted a picture of a cup supporter. LaMarcus and Roy exchanged a couple tweets about seeing each other in the NBA Finals. We know how that turned out.

Even if the tweet looks bad in retrospect, Hibbert can blow up social media with one tweet.

Yesterday he stopped by Twitter headquarters to show off the new NBA ball.

This picture is bad, in my opinion. I can barely see the “@” symbol on the ball.
