We saw Paul George show off some new, personalized kicks when he visited Nike headquarters recently, and now we have a look at his Team USA sneakers.
The tongue even features the same cool PG logo, which will certainly be a staple of his signature shoe when it (presumably) drops in the not-too-distant future.

I have to say that while I didn’t like the shoes (mostly the colorways) we saw the other day, these joints are slick. I would even wear these Team USA sneakers — and if that isn’t the biggest compliment an NBA player can get, I don’t know what is.
Sticking to the “I’m old / he’s young” theme that usually makes me dislike PG’s footwear choices: His favorite shoes of all time are the Yeezy IIs, which I think are gross. His second favorite? The original Yeezys.
Here’s what George said to Complex while breaking down his top 10 favorites.
“The shoe gets so many stares and comments – easily one of my favorite shoes to wear. I wanted to be the first to wear these on the floor but when Nate (Robinson) did it, it kind of took a lot of it. I still might bring them out, I got an extra pair around that I can do it in. You might see me out there wearing them one of these games – maybe something special for the Playoffs.”
You can probably throw Nate Rob in there as another guy who I don’t mesh with fashion-wise.
Here’s more from PG on his sneaker philosophy.
