The 2013-14 Indiana Pacers’ season ended in flames, and the loss of Lance Stephenson may have made some fear that the team’s window for contention is over.
But that is the pessimistic perspective, and it loses sight of all the great moments that fans got to witness over the last year.
To help remember the good times, we’ll spend the rest of the summer looking back at some of the Best Pacer Moments of 2013-14.

@8pts9secs George Hill's 3 to send the Portland game to overtime was a damn good moment. Hell, his whole performance in the game was.

Throughout the season, George Hill had some ups and plenty of downs. Even in the early going, when the Pacers were blitzing the league, fans were still apt to harp on the fact that the local product wasn´t carrying his weight.
But Hill also had his ups — and none were better than this off-balance beauty.
Not only did the skinny guard drop a career-high 37 points on the night, but he netted this game-tying 3-pointer with 8.3 seconds left that extended the contest into overtime, where Indiana would win 118-113.
This comeback win was one that really moved the Pacers into the front of the pack in the NBA, as the Blazers were mounting their own similar start to the season in the West and Indiana once again proved that, for the first four months of the season anyway, they were nearly impossible to beat at home.
Below you can see the full highlights of his career-best scoring night.
