Ian Mahinmi is expected to secure a roster spot on the France National Team for next month’s FIBA World Cup.
He announced the news on Twitter last Thursday.
Très heureux de pouvoir annoncer que je vais faire mon retour en Equipe de France! Hâte de retrouver les gars et d'enfiler le maillot bleu!

That translates to: “Very happy to announce that I will make my return to Team France! Looking forward to seeing the guys and don the blue shirt!”
Mahinmi received a late invitation to participate because Alexis Ajinça and Kevin Seraphin were unable to play. Ajinça is staying home with his pregnant wife and Seraphin was not allowed to play by the Washington Wizards.

Today, Ian Mahinmi signed autographs for fans and took part in a individual photoshoot.
This will be his second time on the national team. He averaged 4.5 points and 3.2 rebounds per game throughout the 2010 World Basketball Championships.
Mahinmi’s Pacer teammate Paul George will be playing for Team USA.
