I'm hearing the #Pacers already reached out to guard Rodney Stuckey (Detroit)… who made $8.5 M last year

The Pacers have shown interest in free agent Rodney Stuckey, according to Candace Buckner of the Indianapolis Star.
Especially after the C.J Miles signing, on top of the Rudez signing, I don’t think Indiana has many feasible ways to sign any other free agents.
But there is interest, we’re told, and Stuckey is also interested in Indiana.
Perhaps the Pacers could work out a sign-and-trade of some sort with Stuckey’s former club, the Detroit Pistons, to make the math work.
Once a centerpiece in Motown, Stuckey started just five games while averaging 13.9 points per game on 43.6% shooting last year. Per usual, he was not a threat from long range.
I don’t see this happening.
Update: Chris Broussard doesn’t see it happening either. He has reported that Indiana will not pursue Stuckey.
I'm told Indiana has no plans to pursue Rodney Stuckey
