Reliving the Ugly Ending of Game 4

Coach Nick at Basketball Breakdown did a nice rundown of how Game 4 ended. It wasn’t pretty for either team.

The Wizards were particularly bad, missing their final 5 shots and committing 1 turnover in the final 2:30 of the game. Indiana only attempted 2 shots (making 1) but committed 2 critical turnovers, as they are wont to do.

Ultimately, as we know, the Pacers ended up getting 5 other points at the line and outscoring Washington 7-3 in the final 2:30 to take the win. But Coach Nick brings up a lot of good points about the poor execution by both teams late in a video aptly titled “No One Wanted to Win This Game.”

The Pacers, leading the series 3-1, will look to close things out tonight, but there is a lot left to be desired from an offensive execution point of view.
