Jeff Teague wasn’t complaining, he was giving his best impression of “the Michael Jordan shrug.”

A game that the Atlanta Hawks deserved to win involved at least one incredible shot, despite it not having any impact on the outcome of the game. Atlanta defeated the Indiana Pacers, 98-85, to take a 2-1 advantage in the best-of-seven Eastern Conference quarterfinals.

Before hitting the shot, however, Teague stepped out of bounds. Whether a turnover charged to Teague would have changed the final result of the game will never be known. Play resumed, and the missed call resulted in one of Atlanta’s 12 three-pointers on the night.

Again, the Hawks deserved the win, but for the Pacers, it was just one of the many devastating blows late in the game courtesy of Atlanta.

Game 4 is set for Saturday at 2:00 p.m. Eastern Time at Philips Arena in Atlanta.
