Paul George Drills Three at Buzzer in Game 2 Win

In game 1 of the Eastern Conference Quarterfinals against the Atlanta Hawks, it was the Indiana Pacers that were dominated en route to a home-court loss. Paul George had other plans for game 2.

On Tuesday night in game 2 of the series, it was the exact opposite. Atlanta led Indiana 52-48 at halftime, but the Pacers took control with a surge late in the third period. Indiana would go on to win and tie the series at 1-1.

George received a pass from teammates Luis Scola off a missed three-pointer from Atlanta’s Paul Millsap. PG began dribbling down the court as the seconds ticked away in the third. With the Hawks’ Kyle Korver backpedaling down the floor, George took advantage and capped off a strong 12 minutes with this three:

George finished the night with 27 points, 10 rebounds, six assists and four steals.

With the series knotted up at 1-1, the teams head to Atlanta for games 3 and 4 at Philips Arena.
