This is just some great individual effort by Paul George. Here we have Indiana’s superstar and primary scorer out here doing Patrick Beverly/Avery Bradley stuff by hounding the Bulls before they even really enter their offense.
He pokes the ball away, but the Bulls recover. He cares not about this, continues to pester and knocks the ball away again, this time dislodging it enough to make an acrobatic recovery.
Then he takes it all the way to the cup for a groovy little dunk. You can almost see the frustration expelling from his mouth like the dude in The Green Mile as he yells after the flush. (NBA.com has better resolution on the video if you’re into that sort of thing.)
Unfortunately, these were 2 points of just 77 (and 34 in the first half) the Pacers scored against the Bulls, and they came up well short of victory, falling 77-89 in Chicago.
