    *fun with numbers*

miami knob slobbers Dan LeRetard and Tom Handjobstroh are giddy about this:

    2013-14 per36, Greg Oden’s Points / Rebounds / Blocks / Fouls
    13.1 / 10.7 / 2.4 / 8.7

For fun times, here is a guessing game (expand comment for answers)
    Name the player’s 2013-14 per36!
    Player A: 13.4 / 11.2 / 2.0 / 4.8
    Player B: 15.1 / 9.5 / 2.1 / 2.1
    Player C: 13.6 / 9.0 / 2.9 / 3.9
    Player D: 9.9 / 10.4 / 1.0 / 4.3
    Player E: 7.1 / 7.2 / 2.1 / 5.9

clearly in a vaccuum, per36 of pts/reb/blk/fouls means nothing. I mean which #s are the most impressive above? Player B- the scorer who doesn’t foul? Player C- the shot blocking expert? Player A or player D- the double double machines? maybe Player E- who’s per53.5 stats look just like Oden (10.6/10.7/3.1/8.8) …?

Hard to tell… here’s how i chose the players. Player A was most statistically similiar to Oden, not suprising given he replaced Oden after he left Ohio St.. but at least doesn’t foul! Player B is a player who’s name has been in Oden-related conversations all season, and yet is better in nearly every way (despite, by all reports, him being an awful basketball player so far this season.) Players C, D, and E are Pacers who can play center.

    Now for the results:
    Player A: Kosta Koufos
    Player B: Andrew Bynum
    Player C: Roy Hibbert
    Player D: Lavoy Allen
    Player E: Ian Mahinmi

Surprised? or did you see it all coming?

cherry picking stats by the Miami homers… nice touch ESPN.
If you’re suggesting Oden has potential (with more minutes) to be the next Koufos, then we really need to be scared!

In my opinion, the 3 best of the bunch wear Pacers jerseys. I have serious doubts Oden will see the floor in the playoffs against Indiana, but if he does, I will look forward to him being exposed. (and not in the disgusting selfie way he has in the past)

Oden sucks, he is a bitch for joining Miami.

I love Danny, he has been my favorite player for years, but if he signs with Miami it will ruin his legacy as a Pacer.
I used to love Jermaine the way I loved DG (and now PG) and I still have fondness in my heart for him because by the time he left the Pacers he was all but useless and went on to play for horrible non-contending teams. He will forever be a Pacer
but if DG leaves Philly to a contender, i will have no words. I get it’s what’s best for him, but that’s kind of like having an amicable breakup with your girlfriend, only for her to turn around and start banging your worst enemy. not amicable any more after that, you want to forget you were even with her. same would happen with DG, i will love him forever if his career is “never won a title but played 7 great seasons leading the Pacers”
