Usually, I don’t get into the snub game of the All Star weekend, but I’m a Pacers’ fan and we have a guy here that deserved to play in the game, Lance Stephenson. You talk about a game that’s suited for Lance Stephenson’s game, that is the All Star game. He could have put on quite the show for fans as let’s face it that game means nothing and guys at times take it like that.
Just look at some of the work Lance Stephenson can put into a live action game.
A trifecta of highlights for the trifecta of awesome that Stephenson has provided over this past year. I do believe he is one of those few players that you just know can produce a triple double in any game. It might be a short list that starts with Lebron James.
I think what hurt Lance Stephenson could be the antics that he’s provided over the past season. He’s a guy that I am sure teams just hate to play against because he can get under your skin. It wouldn’t surprise me at all if some of the coaches held that bias against him.
It’s too bad that he can’t be rewarded for the career highs he is providing, the excitement he brings to a game, and the energy he exudes during that game. Isn’t that what the All Star game is all about/
Wouldn’t this type of run and gun game be best suited for Lance Stephenson? I’ll add in as well all will be forgiven if Stephenson ends up the Most Improved Player, which of course would bring this season full circle for the maturation of Stephenson’s career to this point. I’ll move on from this All Star snub because this could be the best year for Stephenson to earn that, and be excited that another Pacers player has made so many strides in a season to earn that end of season award in Most Improved Player.
