Had few issues connecting at BLF, but Vogel said Granger definitely in tomorrow night. Likely play 15-20 minutes. #pacers

Not sure if this is the news that will excite Pacer fans or not, but for me, it’s exciting to know that Danny Granger is stepping out on the floor tomorrow night. I think you have to see what Granger can give you if he’s physically ready to go. I would believe that a game against not so good competition would have been a better situation, but if Granger is ready to go, you might as well throw him out there.
Some have said that maybe Granger should wait until the Pacers are further into the season, but then again, Granger can be a slow starter, so if you can get him going now, that could work out for the best in the long run. I still believe he’s a vital part of this Pacers team, and we can see what he’ll bring in the next few games.
That’s about what I believe it will take him for the legs to be back underneath him. Last season, he only played five games, but it took about the second or third game before he looked to be somewhat himself. This time around, I’m hoping he can come out alive tomorrow night, and really show fans that he’s ready to play.
He’ll definitely get some run against a tough opponent in the Houston Rockets, which is why I am surprised, the Pacers wouldn’t want until Sunday night with the game against the Boston Celtics for Granger to return. But this could be partly Granger’s call as well that he’s ready to go.
The jury will be out until we see a good sample of games. I know I’ve said all along, I’ll believe Granger when he’s out there playing a game. Hopefully tomorrow night seeing is believing.
