Live Game Thread: Indiana Pacers vs. Orlando Magic

The Indiana Pacers look to start what is one of the most anticipated regular seasons with a home game against the Orlando Magic.  The Magic bring out their rookie of the year candidate in Victor Oladipo and a bunch of other guys.  The Indiana Pacers set to show that their bench is much improved, and we should see some of that this evening if the Pacers play the way they should be.  Indiana needs to be strong on the defensive end because I believe that will be the bread and butter of this team.  If the Pacers can find some scoring out of that second unit, then the offense will be that much better as well.

This is a home opener for the team, so I believe they come out strong and ready to go.  The fans will be pumped up, so feel free to use this thread to talk up the game with other fans.  I would love to hear your predictions for the game, who you think leads the Pacers in scoring, what kind of score will be the final score, and general thoughts about tonight’s game.  Personally, I am predicting the Pacers to come out and win this first game of the season, even pulling away in the fourth quarter with a win of double digits. I’d go with Paul George as the leading scorer, maybe in that 17 point scoring range.  I think it could be low in the final score as the Pacers seem to come out slow at the start of seasons.  I wouldn’t be surprised to see this one fall in the 90 some point range.  But a Pacers win to start the season would be great.
