Indiana Pacers Links: What Others Are Saying

I love all the visits on here, and all the comments about my articles.  But I also seek out other articles that catch my interest, and show them some love as I want to be able for people to share my stuff. We’re all fans looking for that top notch article about the Indiana Pacers, so I am here to help with some articles and sites that have caught my own eye, and should catch yours.

Beat the Heat, but Beat the Rest

This comes to us from 8 Points, 9 Seconds, which is always a great trusted site to find plenty of stat crunching about the Indiana Pacers.  This article talks up that idea that the Pacers might be all about beating the Miami Heat, but they also have to deal with the other teams in the league. It’s important to have all players on target for that mode of beating whoever steps into the way of that possible NBA title.  The Heat are the hunted, but there are other hunters out there ready to prey.

Can George Hill be Long Term Answer as Indiana Pacers’ Point Guard?

Great article breaking down the good and not so good about George Hill’s game and how it has translated into the point guard position. I am sure most fans know that Hill started out as a shooting guard, and most people believe he wants to still be in that role.  But to me, he’s really answered the call as the point guard, and while he may not be your “typical” point guard, he just seems to fit with what the Pacers want to do. I have believed ever since he took over for Darren Collison that the position was Hill’s to lose, and well look at he performed, he didn’t lose it.  So he’s a guy that’s local to Indy, which is awesome, and someone that loves playing here, and really has embraced the Blue and Gold.

ESPN Forecast Pacers as legit NBA Champion Contender

ESPN has some great forecasting on the upcoming NBA season, and our Indiana Pacers finished with the third most votes to win the NBA Title.  They were right behind the Miami Heat and Oklahoma City Thunder, but finished ahead of the Los Angeles Clippers and San Antonio Spurs.  So not just fans are predicting a great season, but people outside Indy are seeing what this Pacers’ team can do this upcoming season. It’s just hard to believe how quickly this off season is going, and next month, we’ll be talking up training camp and counting down till that opening game with the Orlando Magic.   Blue Collar, Gold Swagger is ready to roll
