Indiana Pacers Off Season: Roy Hibbert Gives Google Glasses a Go

Have you ever wanted to see what a player goes through during practice from that player’s view point? Just check out this video of Roy Hibbert giving those Google Glasses a try during his practice. It reminds me a ton of that QB cam from one of the NFL2k games, where you couldn’t even make a pass because the football took up half of the camera view. I do wonder if some trend will come of these glasses. I wouldn’t be surprise if some players in the NFL are willing to give them some go on the field during a game. What a view that would be.

I believe refs have tried them out during a game, and I guess it would be fun to watch that from the ref’s perspective for a bit. I don’t think it becomes a huge thing though. That would get a bit tiresome trying to sit through that type of motion and activity. Maybe some players in the NBA put them on for some preseason game, even for a quarter just to give that different perspective. Would that capture your interest?
