NBA Playoffs: Indiana Pacers Take 1-0 Lead Over Atlanta Hawks

Paul George finished with 23 points, 11 rebounds, and 12 assists to complete his first career playoff triple-double.

Following the tip-off the Indiana Pacers were quickly outscored by their opponent the Atlanta Hawks 6-0.  This would be the last time the visiting team would give Indiana any significant trouble.  With the final score of 104-90 the Pacers finished with six players in double digits including second year player and first time all-star Paul George completing his first career playoff triple-double.  Although the defense didn’t control the game for the Indiana as much as it has in the past the offensive production looked good across the board.  Thanks can be given to the excellent free throw shooting as well.  The Pacers attempted twenty more than the Hawks and finished 30-34.  It’s apparent that this will continue to be a good match-up, but I believe that Indiana will continue to dominate the series as they did this game.
