NBA All-Star 2013: Three Point Contest Prediction

The Indiana Pacers have a contestant in this year’s three point contest, and I love Paul George’s chance of taking this.  He’s got a silky smooth shot that feels like it’s going in every time.  There have been plenty of Boom Baby calls when George is out there playing.  How about that game against New Orleans when George had nine three pointers?  He’s shooting 38% from three point land this season, which has helped bolster the career average.

Stephen Curry has a great chance at stealing the glory from George as he’s such a great shooter as well. He’s even shooting better than George from three this season, and maybe the snub from the All Star game will give him that extra motivation to win this.

Ryan Anderson was in last year’s contest, and almost made it to the final round, but lost out.  Anderson could have that pedigree to take over the three point crown.

How about Steve Novak taking the three point crown?  We’ve seen what he’s been doing in New York, and now the nation can see his shooting abilities.

As the Pacers fan, I’m pulling for Paul George.  Even if he’s not winning, I think he’ll put up a great fight.  He just needs to get in that right rhythm, which is so important in this contest.  He’s already surpassed Reggie Miller for three pointers made in a game, so why not surpass Miller as a winner of the three point contest?
