Last year, Paul George tried his hand at the Slam Dunk Contest, and this year he’s got the chance to show off his shooting with his entry into the Three Point Contest. Pacer fans know Paul George can shoot the three as evident against New Orleans when he sank nine of them for the new franchise record.
He’s hitting them with such great percentage that you have that old Reggie Miller feeling. It’s going in no matter what. Plus his form doesn’t hurt the shot at all. He looks so smooth shooting the ball, that this competition could be his for the taking.
He’s made 108 threes this sesaon, and I would bank on a few more. He’s shooting at 38% from that range, and who knows that could climb with the way he’s shooting. I look for Paul George to make a great impact in this competition, especially if he can get into that rhythm we’ve seen him get into. Can’t wait to see George unleash the three ball at this year’s Three Point Competition.
