Paul George is an All Star

Hey now you’re an All Star get your game on, go play
Hey now you’re a Rock Star get the show on get paid
And all that glitters is gold
Only shooting stars break the mold

Now that I’ve successfully got All Star by Smashmouth stuck in your head, let me put something else there in your brain, Paul George deserves All Star consideration this season.   We fans here in Indiana have been seeing what Paul George can really do for about the past month or so, and last night was a great chance for the nation to see what George can do.  What can George do? Well last night, he took the Pacers to a great win by doing all he can.  Look at his stat line:  24 points, 11 rebounds, 5 assists, 6 steals, and 1 block.  Is there any more stat stuffing George could have done?  Look at those numbers and it’s almost near a quadruple double.  Does that even happen anymore?  Plus, he held J.R. Smith in check who took 29 shots to get to 25 points.  A game after defending Lebron James.

This guy is good, this Paul George fellow, isn’t he?  All along, I kept thinking that David West was the glue that holds this Pacers team together. But Paul George is starting to become the extra bit of glue to hold the team together.  He is just oozing confidence when he plays, and you have to hope that this continues, which who knows why it wouldn’t continue when Danny Granger gets back? I am thinking most fans aren’t even thinking about how much better this team can be with this confident George, rock solid West, ready to go Granger, leader Hill, and presence in the middle Hibbert?

This Pacers team is showing that they can finally beat some good teams in two games.  Both games at home, which helps out immensely, but still beating the New York Knicks, who previously held the Pacers team in check.  Now the Pacers are sniffing right around the top of the Eastern Conference.  That’s right, they  are just two games out of first place for the whole East.  I would give much credit to George for his practically double figures in scoring last month and to continue his all around play as very evident last night.  Somebody once told me this guy should be an All Star, and now I’m telling you to vote for him.
