Dear Paul George,
Let’s let last night’s game against the Warriors be an aberration. We know you can put up points when you put your mind to it. Look back to the game against the Hornets, and you had 37 points. That was including a franchise record 9 three pointers. So there is the idea that you can score.
Time to be an aggressive player and get those points again. You’ve had 4 points against the Kings and 0 points last night. With a guy who is athletic as you can be, that’s unacceptable. Time to get in the offense and get your head in the game. We Pacer fans are ready for you to make that next step to a great Pacer and great player overall. You’ve shown those flashes, let’s put it all together now.
Any starter for any NBA team should have some points during a game. What’s the point of starting a game if you’re not there to score and play the game the right way? I believe in your ability, but like most of the Pacers, it’s time to believe in yourself. There are those times when you don’t look to be worrying about yourself, but I am giving you the green light to get out and go.
With George Hill and David West being as aggressive as they can, it would be great to have another option available, and that’s your spot to take. Go out and grab what is out there for you. You can become such a fan favorite once you get the game all together. Just think how much better this Pacers team will be. No more 0 points in a game. No more laying back and letting other guys score. Keep shooting and get your own points.
