Indiana Pacers and Milwaukee Bucks Game Preview

Indiana Pacers  (3-5)

at

Milwaukee Bucks  (4-2)

The Indiana Pacers won’t have much time to think about last night’s game and the way they let a possible win slip away.  Time to beat the Milwaukee Bucks, who are ahead of the Pacers in the standings.  It might time to start pressing the issue more about what this team should be doing, and how much better they can be.  The team can’t seem to get points as they put together 72 points last night. It’s going to take a lot more than that to handle this Bucks team that has some scorers.

The Pacers can take pride in the fact that they’re stepping it up on defense.  Last night’s effort included the stifling defense that allowed the Raptors to score just 5 points in the fourth quarter. It’s imperative to bring that type of effort all game, and get the momentum going on this team.

Roy Hibbert needs to have a good game. He’s not looked the same as last season when he looked to be peaking into a quality center.  Averaging just around 8 points in not enough for a guy with his size and ability.  He should be around the 12-15 point range, and I would love to see him put together a good game tonight.  It could do wonders for his self esteem as he looks lost out there at times. He’s getting good looks, but shots are falling, which is the story of the whole team.

Paul George is another guy I want to see have a stand out game. He got 20 points in a  win against the Kings, and that type of effort needs to be more consistent.  Who knows if he’s ready to step into that leader type role, but it’s on him to do that.  The Pacers will need a great effort from these two guys and the whole team.

Even with a better record than the Pacers, this Bucks team isn’t as good.  Good teams win out games, and the Pacers NEED to show that tonight. I’ve not looked good in my predictions so far this season, so I can only predict a Pacers win.  Let’s get that win tonight and work towards the next game.
