USA Basketball 2012: Who would make 1992 Dream Team?

There’s been so much talk about whether or not this year’s Olympic Men’s Basketball team could beat the 1992 Dream Team.  I think if you look at the rosters, the 1992 Dream Team would win, and possibly by double digits.  It might not be a runaway in the beginning, but the size of the original team could give this year’s team problems.

But I wanted to look at if anyone from this year’s team would have made that original team.  To me there are two names that I think would be on there already, Lebron James and Kobe Bryant.

James is the no brainer as I think he’s a good fit for that team with his ability.  Granted, he’d probably let Michael Jordan take over at times, but he would be a great asset to the team.

Kobe Bryant is always getting compared to Michael Jordan, so of course he would be a pick to make it.  I think you could take off some like Christian Laettner, and put either one of these guys on there.

These are two names I would have on my Ultimate Olympic Team, so I know they would fit on the original squad.

Who do you see making the 1992 Dream Team?
