AJ Price Looks to be Gone from Indiana Pacers Soon

AJ Price looks to be cut from the Pacers here soon as it will clear up a roster spot, which could mean the Pacers sign someone in his place.  It’s not a surprising move as the Pacers had three other point guards in place.  George Hill is set to come back, Darren Collison is there, and Lance Stephenson will now be the third option.

This move looks to benefit Stephenson the most as he had high hopes from Larry Bird.  But then again, Larry Bird is gone, so who knows what Stephenson will end up doing.  Stephenson did show some small improvement this season, but playing time was limited and the results varied.  This upcoming season for him could be a good chance to really show what he can do.

Not sure what happens to AJ Price now. I would think some team picks him up because he hasn’t had much of a chance to show what he can do as well.  I don’t think he can ever be a great player, but could be a reliable back up player or role player in that he can shoot the ball and handle the ball at times.
