Dallas Mavericks

The big question here is what the Mavericks do about the point guard situation.  Jason Terry and Jason Kidd are without contracts.  Would the Mavericks have the money to sign Deron Williams to a max contract, which is what he’ll get?

Jason Terry

Obviously a dependable back up guy, but if the Mavericks let Kidd walk away, does that bump up Terry into the starting role?

Jason Kidd

I am sure Kidd has something left in the tank, but at what price.  I think some contending team would pick him up if it was at the right price.  But I have a feeling the Mavericks let him walk.

Houston Rockets

Just looking over the salary situation for the Rockets, it’s hard telling what they are going to do.  They have nine players without contracts and five guys with team options.

Marcus Camby

He made over 9 million last year, but I am guessing he’s not worth that price at this moment.  So the Rockets maybe bring him back at a cheaper price and keep that veteran forward in their roster.

Samuel Dalembert

He actually have a team option that’s less money than last year’s money he made, so does that mean he walks away?  But then again, I go back to a team needing that big man, so maybe he just signs this if there’s no other offers.

Memphis Grizzlies

Memphis is in a good place as they have their major pieces under contract. Who knows what happens to OJ Mayo?  He’s almost got traded a couple of times.

OJ Mayo

My guess is he’s walking away as he’s already been almost traded twice, so maybe the writing is on the wall there.  See what he can do somewhere else.

New Orleans Hornets

Thirteen guys without contracts on this team. That’s just crazy.  They’ll be giving a lot of money to their number one pick, so we’ll have to wait and see what they do after that.

San Antonio Spurs

There’s one major piece here that needs to come back.

Tim Duncan

Just resign the guy and let him retire as a Spur. How many athletes anymore can stay with one team their whole career?  Look at what Duncan has done there, I am sure the Spurs work out something for him.
