NBA Draft Lottery 2012: New Orleans Hornets Nab #1

And the winner of the number one draft pick in this year’s NBA draft is….the New Orleans Hornets.  A team that was owned by the NBA and sold to a man by the name of Tom Benson.   Let the conspiracies come forth.  Maybe the NBA added in to make the deal better, “Hey Tom, we’ll give you the number one draft pick” and Tom said “Okay I’ll buy.”

I doubt it went like that, but you will have those lovers of all things conspiracy talking this one up since it does seem a bit fishy the New Orleans Hornets get this number one pick.

And tough loss for the Charlotte Bobcats, as if they’ve  not lost enough. I still hold to the theory that the Bobcats needed the first two or three or even four picks to get back to winning some games.  They didn’t even 10 games last season, right?

Here’s the top 14 picks for this year’s NBA Draft.
