NBA Playoffs: Western Conference Recap

San Antonio Spurs  vs  Los Angeles Clippers

(Spurs Win Series 4-0)

The Spurs have been the most dominant and impressive team of the playoffs.  They have won 18 straight games as they’re perfect 8-0 right now.  Sweeping away the Utah Jazz and the Los Angeles Clippers.  They might not even be challenged in the whole playoffs.  Tony Parker is playing great.  Tim Duncan is playing like he always does.  All the role players, who are too many to name, are doing what they can to make sure the Spurs keep rolling at all times in the game.  Perhaps the most dominant performance is when the Spurs put together that 24-0 run in the third quarter of game three to get themselves back in that game and actually gain control to win the game.

Oklahoma City Thunder  vs  Los Angeles Lakers

(Thunder Lead 3-1)

The Thunder looked really dominant at times, but still let a game slip in this series.  Kevin Durant and Russell Westbrook are leading the way for the Thunder.  Each one seems to get their points at will and whenever they want.  The Lakers are starting to hit breakdown mode as Kobe Bryant calls out teammates, especially Pau Gasol.  The Thunder should be able to wrap this series up with the next game.
