Boston and Philadelphia have played the competitive series that I didn’t think would happen.  I thought Boston was the better team, so they would take care of business and be sitting in the Eastern Conference Finals soon.  But Philly is a tough out for them as they put together the right game plan for game four and tied the series.  Kevin Garnett had his worst performance of the post season, which probably led to the Celtics’ loss.  With this series so up and down, hard to make a call on this game.  But my prediction was Celtics in five games, which won’t happen, but I’ll still pick the Celtics to win games five and six.

Los Angeles Lakers  vs  Oklahoma City Thunder

(Thunder Lead 3-1)

Not that the Thunder absolutely have to close out tonight, but it would be in their best interest to do so.  With the San Antonio Spurs closing out last night, you know they’ll be resting up and getting ready for whoever comes out of this series.  But with the Thunder having control of this one, and the opportunity to put away the Lakers, they need to do that.  The Lakers will be in desperation mode, which was evident once Kobe Bryant called out Pau Gasol after the last game.  The Thunder don’t want to give any confidence to the Lakers at this point, so they need to do what they can do, and that’s finish this. I think the Thunder will do that and win comfortably by ten or more points.
