NBA Playoffs: Saturday Night Preview

Denver Nuggets vs  Los Angeles Lakers

(Series Tied 3-3)

There’s one game seven tonight, and a game one of the Eastern Conference Semi-Finals.  This game seven tonight between the Lakers and Nuggets should be a dandy.  It’s hard to predict who wins these final games of a series.  This Lakers team looks to be the better team, but they haven’t put away the Nuggets in a couple of chances.  The Nuggets have a team that I can’t even name some players on their team, but they’ve put it together the past three games. I didn’t give them much of a chance, and they proved me wrong.  I still believe the Lakers are the better team, and that should show up tonight.  Kobe Bryant will have a great game and probably put up over 30 points.  Andrew Bynum needs to get back and playing the way he was the first few games.  I would think a big game happens from him.  If the Nuggets are going to win, it looks like Ty Lawson will need to carry them like he did in game six.  He outscored Kobe, which doesn’t happen often.

Philadelphia 76ers vs Boston Celtics

(Game One of Eastern Conference Semi Finals)

Who predicted the Sixers would out play the Chicago Bulls, the top seed, and advance to the next round?  If you did, then you’re going with me to a casino.  We’ll make some money.  But here are the Sixers ready to try their best to out play the veteran team of the Boston Celtics.  You have Kevin Garnett getting back to his old self in the clincher game.  Rajon Rondo really is a force when he’s playing the right way.  Paul Pierce has been scoring.  It’s just a tough team to contend with at the level they are playing right now.  I look for the Celtics to win this first game, and probably take the series in five games.
