NBA Playoffs: Monday Night Preview

Two Western Conference games are happening tonight.  The San Antonio Spurs have a chance to sweet.  The Clippers have a chance to go up 3-1.

San Antonio Spurs and Utah Jazz (Spurs Lead 3-0)

This series has been all Spurs, and tonight wouldn’t surprise me if the Spurs pull away for the clincher.  Maybe the Jazz pull it together for a win, but ultimately the playoffs are all about the better team, and that has been the Spurs all year.  They need to win tonight, and get ready for their next match up.

Los Angeles Clippers and Memphis Grizzlies (Clippers Lead 2-1)

This has been the most competitive series in my opinion. It’s hard telling who is going to win what game, but I still think this goes seven games.  Therefore, I think the Grizzlies pull off the win tonight, and things get back to even.  Of course, the Clippers could have their super duo of Chris Paul and Blake Griffin working together to put away the Grizzlies tonight, and maybe the Clippers get the 3-1 edge.  But tonight, my prediction is Grizzlies in a close game as has been this series.
