Indiana Pacers and Orlando Magic Instant Reaction

Game four is a wrap, but not without some drama in it.  The Indiana Pacers have defeated the Orlando Magic in overtime 101-99.  It was a gutsy effort after relinquishing a 19 point lead in the fourth quarter, and letting the Magic get back into the game.

But you can’t fault the effort of this Pacers team.  David West was huge down the stretch as he found tough ways to score and put together 26 points.  He was like a general on the court making sure guys didn’t get down after letting go of that huge lead.

George Hill had huge shots down the stretch as well.  So that’s two additions to this Pacers team showing why they are here.

The Magic had  a shot to tie the game and even went to Glen Davis.  Yes Glen Davis.  Three weeks ago, he wasn’t even playing as a starter for the Magic, but he’s now showing off his skills as he had 24 points in the lose.  Jason Richardson added 25 points for the Magic, but it wasn’t enough.

Now the series shifts to Indiana, where the Pacers can put away this Magic team on Tuesday night, and prepare for the second round.  Looks like it will be Miami, which will be tough.  But the Pacers are a tough team, and should be feisty in that series.  First things first, get the win Tuesday and put this Magic team away.
