Roy Hibbert and George Hill Expected to Play Against Chicago, Danny Granger to Sit Again

After the win over Detroit tonight, coach Frank Vogel said that the team would return to a more normal rotation for the team’s final regular season game against the Bulls on Wednesday. That means that George Hill will start at point guard while Roy Hibbert jumps the ball at tip-off. Danny Granger, however, will likely sit again. Vogel said that the captain could go if it was a playoff game, but since it’s not, he will try to rest his balky knee a little longer to hopefully be even better off physically when the games start to mean something again.

All three sat out in the win over the Pistons.

Why aren’t we resting David West? He’s older than the rest of the starters and he is coming off surgery.

West doesn’t want to sit. Per earlier articles on 8p9s and also by Conrad Brunner on Pacers.com Vogel asked players if they wanted to sit. Granger said yes, West said he’d rather stay in rhythm and continue to play.
