Reggie Miller Gets the Call

Finally getting the word that Reggie Miller is getting the nod for Hall of Fame, and it’s about time. Reggie for me is the guy that put the state of Indiana on the map. Sure Peyton Manning helped carry it after Reggie retired, but it was Reggie first.

Who can forget those battles in the playoffs with Reggie and how he put the team on his back? How many guys stepped up their game like Reggie did? There’s the 8 points in 9 seconds. 25 points in the fourth quarter against the Knicks. There’s making the Finals and seeing Reggie jump around because he finally got to play in an NBA Finals. The battle with Jordan when Jordan came back.

So many memories of Reggie, and it’s hard to even begin to put into words how all those moments fit. But I’ll leave it short and sweet with this there will never be a Pacers player like him.
