UPDATE: Jeff Foster Out for Two Weeks, Jeff Pendergraph Day-to-Day After a Concussion

UPDATE: According to Pacers.com writer Conrad Brunner, Jeff Foster has now been ruled out for two weeks. He is reportedly having a procedure on his back. (h/t Pacers Center)

Pacers.com now has the story up. No real extra info other than talking about how Lou Amundsom will remain ahead of Pendergraph in the rotation because “a little further along with his conditioning and knowing the system and everything.” Lou get the bulk of the back-up center minutes that Foster was playing.

Jeff Foster’s back is again preventing him from playing, and he won’t even be making the trip to Sacramento.

Injury Update: Jeff Pendergraph (concussion) is day-to-day and Jeff Foster (back) is out and will not make trip.

The Pacers noted that this does not necessarily preclude Foster from playing Friday night in Oakland against the Warriors, but I wouldn’t be surprised if he skips the whole West Coast swing. The team is enjoying a 3-games-in-9-days stretch right now so it makes some sense to let him rest up as much as possible during a time where the the rest of the team will be less exhausted than is the norm during this compressed season. Starting on 1/24 against Orlando, they play 3 games in 4 nights.

Jeff Pendergraph apparently got a concussion somehow. I sorta checked out for the final few minutes of the Celtics game so not sure what happened. No further info thus far from Pacers.com or their Twitter account.
