According to Mike Wells of the Indianapolis Star, Jeff Foster, who missed the first six games of the year with back issues before appearing in the team’s last four, is not playing tonight.
Pacers will be w/o Foster 2night. He’s expected to play tomorrow vs the aging Celtics
Foster is still going through a lot of treatment for his back, which is basically just his way of life now. So since he is playing tomorrow, this is probably just one of those deals where they’re trying to be cautious and not wanting to over-exert the old guy. And his services certainly can be better used against Boston’s physical front line compared to Toronto’s, let’s just say, less physical “bigs.”
