George Hill is 25 years old. But on this Pacers team, he’s a wily veteran who has been through many a playoff battle. While many of the current Pacers players (James Posey and Dahntay Jones notwithstanding) have played just five postseason contests, Hill has played in 20 during his three-year NBA career.

“Even though I’m going into my fourth year, they’re calling me the vet,” Hill said at Conseco Fieldhouse today. “You learn so much coming from the organization I came from. I’m just happy to be here. I’m going to try to bring some leadership to this team.”

Now, we just need someone to Photoshop Hill in some scrubs taking a puppy’s temperature with the words “The Vet” and we’ll be all set.
