George Hill Scores 50 Points in Indy Pro-Am Game

The Pacers newest guard, George Hill, has never scored 50 points in an NBA game. He’s never even scored 40. In fact, according to my crack research (i.e., Googling “George Hill career high”) he has yet to drop as many as 31, his best scoring night coming duirng a game against Houston in which he tallied 30 points.

But as you may have heard, NBA players are not NBA players right now.

So last night, George played in an Indy pro-am league game alongside the likes of local legends Eric Gordon and Gordon Hayward and Gordon Shumway. And he went all Kevin Durant out there, putting up a big 5-0.

Here are some highlights and thoughts from Mr. Hill. Interesting to hear that he has talked to Mark Jackson and is interested in adding some post moves to his repertoire. If all goes well, perhaps George can drop another fitty on some heads when the season starts … in 2012. (video via SLAM)
