The Time JE Skeets Misunderestimated Granger

Every NBA fan should regularly listen to The Basketball Jones. It is simply the best basketball show there is (with apologies to the Inside the NBA crew). This year, they will even actually be airing on real, actual television for the first time, although you have to live in Canada to see it on The Score. (Don’t worry … most of their stuff will still be on their website.)

In addition, TBJ has branched out this year, adding Trey Kerby as a full-time blogger to cover the NBA universe in words and also adding the wonderful Holly McKenzie, the bespectacled Scott Carefoot and the sartorially inclined Megan Wilson. (Read more about those changes.)

The reason I bring all this up is because the crew recently posted a link to a video that aired last year on their Facebook page. And since it’s hilarious and begins with some foolish statements about Danny Granger by JE Skeets (he claimed the Jason Maxiell would be an All-Star before Danny), I figured I would pass it along.

But don’t worry, Pacers fans. JE apologized to the Indy captain.

I’m sorry. Danny, I’m sorry. I’m going to eat my words … This is toxic.

You should be, Skeeters.

And, yes … yes it is.
