Okay, I am very confused with my draft analysis for the Indiana Pacers. Now, today, I’m leaning more towards Ekpe Udoh. Whoever the Pacers draft, I hope it’s either Ekpe Udoh, Xavier Henry, or Ed Davis. That’s all I want. One of those three guys at the tenth pick, I’ll take it.
The Baylor Bears power forward worked out for the team yesterday, he has some serious interest in the team. I like that.
“Yes, sir, it’s a very positive sign,” Udoh told The Indianapolis Star. “They’re a great team and they’re on the rise.”
Udoh thinks he’s a good fit with the team.
“I think I’m a good fit here. They play off the elbow [their high-post offense] and that’s kind of my game,” he said.
The Pacers are also looking at Kentucky power forward Daniel Orton, too.
Udoh is a kind of guy Larry Bird would like, though. He has good character, a great basketball IQ, great skills, good experience in college, the age Larry Bird likes in a player he wants to draft (Udoh is 23 years old). It all works out.
I guess we’ll see what happens.
