Oh yeah! That’s four straight wins, son! We all saw this coming, guys. We know this is going to be a win. Troy Murphy played great with 25 points and nine rebounds, as the Pacers won their fourth straight game in a 115-102 victory over the 12-68 Nets. Indiana advances to 32-48. Danny Granger had 22 points, including 16 in the second half.
Brook Lopez scored 20 points and Yi Jianlian added 18, along with seven rebounds.
“We wore out a little bit,” Nets’ Kiki Vandeweghe said. “The extra effort just wasn’t there in the second half.”
The Pacers have been 10-2 in their last twelve games and are having a nice finish towards the end of the season now.
“It just happened a little bit too late,” Granger said. “We’ve shot the ball better, our defense has been a little better. Our offense has really been helping us a lot, even through the rough stretches when our defense was kind of bad.”
Indiana will face the Orlando Magic tomorrow. Looks to be a good one. Hope they slack off a bit since they’re second in the East. Oh well, we’ll see.
