The Pacers brought complete revenge to the Sixers after shutting Indy out at home a couple of days ago. But Indiana responded today, beating Philadelphia, 109-98. The Pacers improve their record to 16-29 and have won two straight on the road! On the road? That’s right, I couldn’t believe it either, but they won.
Dahntay Jones came up big today, tallying 18 points and “bullied” Lou Williams. And it seems we are looking at Deja Vu from Brandon Rush. He’s making a comeback again in the second half of the season. B-Rush put up 16 points, and shot well overall. Danny Granger, as always, led the Pacers in scoring with 26 points along with eight boards. Speaking of boards, Troy Murphy had twelve of them along with eleven points.
A.I. had another good game against us with 20 points and six assists. Andre Igoudala had 22 points and Samuel Dalembert came up big on the rebounds again with 13, making up for his two points. And Lou Williams, who got “bullied,” had 16 points along with five assists.
It was a good comeback by the Pacers. But there will be two tough games coming along. They’ll face the Lakers on Wednesday, and LeBron James on Friday. It’s going to be a tough battle, but let’s hope Indiana comes out on top in both of them. We’ll see.
I am looking forward to this second-half of the season with Indy.
