The Pacers got away with a win and go up to 9-14 after beating the Charlotte Bobcats, 101-98. It was an easy win, really, not that hard. Indy led in every quarter but the last one, but it didn’t matter: they got away with a victory.
The Bobcats fall to 10-14, which pretty much means the Pacers and the ‘Cats have the same record. Gerald Wallace continues to dazzle for Charlotte with 29 points and twelve rebounds for the night. Stephen Jackson, in his return to Indy, had 22 points. Tyson Chandler was all-13 today, having 13 points and 13 rebounds.
Troy Murphy was on top for Indiana, with 26 points and 15 rebounds, along with three assists. He was the player of the game in my books. Mike Dunleavy added behind Murphy with his 15 points. T.J. Ford was scoring, as well as passing, with 15 points like Dunleavy and a whopping 13 assists. Brandon Rush had eleven points.
The rookies also added to the points total: A.J. Price had five points and three rebounds; Tyler Hansbrough had seven points and six rebounds. Let’s hope they can double that in the next game, hopefully.
Indiana faces Memphis in two days, and look to bring out a win. Memphis has been on fire lately, and it seems like they won’t stop.
I hope to do an interview with Chip Crain on that day for the site, as I also write with 3Sob. It’s going to be good. So look out for that people. The Pacers are getting it back it together.
I just hope they don’t screw it up.
