Pacers-Wizards: Free Throws Help Pacers Past Wizards, 114-113

This was a great game played by the Pacers tonight against the Wizards. I really expected a loss, but there wasn’t. So here was the rundown:

Gilbert Arenas misses the free throw with the Wizards up, 113-112. Then you got T.J. Ford taking the ball and going up for a shot. It was blocked and the game was over. But according to the replay, there was 0.5 seconds left when the block was made. So then, Pacers still had the ball and clock was put back to the time. There, Ford passes to Dunleavy who didn’t do anything as DeShawn Stevenson got him covered. Over, right? Nope. It was said that the kid with the Abe Lincoln tattoo on his neck fouled Mike. So there, Mike went for two free throws and made them.

Game over, period.

“Thank God for technology,” Dunleavy said.

I agree.

The Pacers will play the Magic on Monday Night. That looks to be a good game. But you know what pisses me off? When I was looking at the ESPN highlights, they made a mistake and said the Wizards won after Dunleavy hit the free throws!

Take a look:

Wow, they're aware of what's going on...
