New(ish) Pacers Crate & Injury/MDJ News

Episode 5 of Pacers Crate “aired” a few days ago, but I’m just getting back into the post-turkey swing of things to watch it/post it here for you while catching up on all the latest Pacers news — worst of which was fearing the worst after seeing Tyler Hansbrough leave the Mavs game with a bruised knee on Friday night. Fortunately, he’s being classified as only day-to-day, so hopefully it’s nothing serious. Cornrows has more on that.

The other big news is Dunleavy being back. Thank the heavens.

He looked good the other night in limited minutes and we should see him even more energized tomorrow in front of the Warriors crowd, which was never shy about displaying its displeasure with his playing during MDJ’s Bay Area days. Jeff Rabjohns wrote more about Mike’s thoughts on his debut as well as Tyler and Granger’s injry woes in the Indianapolis Star.

The best news in there, definitely comes from Danny.

Granger said he wouldn’t miss any more games due to the knee injury.”It’s sore, needs a little extra rest, all of the above,” he said. “It should be around for a few more games, but I should be fine.”

Although, the quote most in-line with my current thinking comes from Coach O’Brien in Mike Wells’ piece about Dunleavy’s return.

“It would be an answer to my prayers if Michael could be healthy,” O’Brien said.

I’m not a big prayer, but, yeah, I’m happy, too.

And here’s The Crate: Episode 5 aka The Dress to Impress Edition.
